imissu is made for one simple daily greeting between two people who trust each other. This policy explains what information we use, what the app is not for, and what choices you have.
Information we collect We may collect your email address, display name, username, selected role, language, appearance preference, notification settings, connection requests, daily greeting status, greeting time, time zone, read/reached status, legal consent records, and device details such as push notification tokens and device name needed to send reminders.
Sensitive information The app is not meant to collect medical records, diagnoses, medication details, precise location, financial information, government identifiers, or emergency details. Please don’t enter that kind of information. Daily greeting status can feel personal because it relates to wellbeing, so we treat it carefully and only show it to the connected accounts the product needs.
How we use information We use this information to sign you in, help trusted people connect, send daily greetings and reminders, show whether an answer arrived, remember your settings, and keep the app running reliably.
What others can see A connected person may see your display name, username, daily greeting status, reminder state, read status, and whether you’ve reached each other today. Your email is never shown to other users in the app.
No ads or tracking We do not sell personal information, show ads, use advertising identifiers, or use app data to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
Service providers We may rely on service providers for authentication, database storage, push notifications, hosting, app distribution, app review, and similar operations. They may only process information as needed to provide their service to the app.
Notifications If you allow notifications, we use them to deliver daily greetings and gentle reminders. Notifications may be delayed, blocked, or shown on a lock screen depending on device settings. You can turn them off in your device settings anytime.
Retention and deletion We keep account, connection, device token, and daily greeting information while your account is active, or as needed to provide the app, protect the service, resolve disputes, comply with law, or maintain backups. You can delete your account from Settings; deletion removes app-owned account data from the active service, though limited records may remain in backups or logs where required.
Your choices You can review your username, role, and greeting setup in Settings, update language or appearance, turn notifications off in device settings, disconnect a relationship where available, sign out, or delete your account.
Questions and privacy choices For privacy questions, use the support contact listed on the App Store product page. If you need access, correction, deletion, or help with a privacy choice that is not available in the app, contact us there.
Children and dependent users The app is intended for adults and for use among trusted people who can consent to the connection, or with appropriate involvement from a parent, guardian, caregiver, or legally authorized representative where required.
Security We use reasonable technical and organizational measures at this stage of the product, but no system can be guaranteed secure. Please use a strong password and don’t share your account.
Safety note This app is not an emergency service, a medical monitoring service, or a substitute for calling local emergency services. If someone may be in danger, contact emergency services or a trusted person nearby right away.
